Lori L Hayes is a native of Woodlyn, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Ridley Senior High School and continued her education at Delaware State University where she received both her bachelors and masters degrees in social work. Upon graduation she moved to West Virginia in pursuit of her English Education certification at West Virginia University. During her time in West Virginia Lori served as the Student Activities Coordinator for the West Virginia University Center for Black Culture and Research. Upon returning to Delaware, Lori served as an English instructor prior to becoming a Student Activities Coordinator for 16 years. During her time in education she has served as an advisor for many organizations from Student Council to founding the Howard Leading Ladies Club in 2008.
